The etching derived from a walk along the beach one day, when Karen came across old weathered boats and decided to etch back a painting to showcase that same rugged vintaged look, so her paintings take on a very unique appeal of vintaged and rustic but finished in high gloss to create a modern finish. It truly is a unique process and looks amazing!
